Many of you will be aware of the news reports circulating this week confirming that Google has suspended its hardware and software business with Chinese company Huawei…
It goes without saying that technology is all pervasive in the world today. It’s more reliable than it’s ever been, but at the same time it’s become more complex too.
As the capabilities of technology increase, so too do the number of moving pieces that have to fit and work together – and with expectations growing around what AI and machine learning will be able to do in future, companies are going to face increasing challenges around ensuring that the tech they employ to do business is understandable and usable by their customers.
Health and Safety matters are at the heart of Forsite’s reason for being. As we state upfront on our website, Forsite exists to enable “contractor health and safety management for people responsible for property.”
With laws and guidelines around health and safety matters always evolving, it’s important that we stay ahead of the curve to ensure that our software is always current and satisfying the demands of the law and global best practice.
To do this, we utilise the services of a company called Salus, run by director Sean McBride. Sean will be familiar to you because he is listed and pictured on the Forsite website staff page as our Health & Safety Consultant.
We spoke with Sean recently about the work he’s been doing and sought his view on the top three things property managers should always keep in mind when it comes to health and safety.
You can see its meaning in our very name – Forsite. Our software is just that; it’s for your site! Its core purpose is to keep your contractors safe while they are working onsite at your property.
Since we launched Forsite, our aim has always been to increase the ways that the software can support higher safety standards in a way that was practical and achievable.
As technology changes and evolves around the world, it affects each and every industry and how they do business. As companies hone their efforts to meet the ever-changing needs of customers, sectors that don’t keep up with these changes risk being left behind their more agile competition.
We are pleased to announce that our customer and contractor trials are fully subscribed. We have or are scheduled to trial Forsite with over 25 prospective clients and contractors. The quality of the participants involved in the trailing of Forsite speaks for itself.
